Combilift are happy to announce that their latest pedestrian truck; the Combi-WR4 has won the Ergonomics Award at this years Fork Lift Truck Awards for Excellence.

The Combi-WR (Walkie Reach) range was developed by Combilift following feedback from a range of respected industry sources. After prolonged research they found that the majority of their clients were in need of a cost-effective and small scale forklift that was versatile in handling a multitude of different loads and that would also allow other workers to operate safely in the same areas.

What is the Combi-WR4?

The Combi-WR4 is a pedestrian truck and the only one of it's type. It is currently the smallest fork truck that Combilift have built. The Combi-WR4 is a 4-way pedestrian reach stacker and combines multi-directional travel features such as a pantograph reach, side shift and tilting fork carriage for handling large and heavy loads specifically in warehouses where space is tight and narrow.

How does it work?

The Combi-WR4 uses electronic power-steering and fingertip controls for precise and easy handling. Using a unique patented multi-position tiller the driver can use push button controls to rotate the rear wheel parallel to the chassis and back again reducing the need for leaning, reaching and bending allowing the driver keep a full and clear periphery when in operation. This also ensures that the operator can maintain accuracy when loading and unloading large haulage.
