Hyster Celebrates 60 Years!!

Hyster's big trucks are manufactured in The Netherlands were they are celebrating 60 years of production with a record number of vehicles being produced last year.

In 2012 an impressive 1,927 vehicles were produced which beats the previous record that they set in 2008.

6 Months into 2012 and Hyster already knew they had beaten previous records when they had already manufactured their 1,000th truck. Once the 1,000th truck had rolled off the production line, it was greeted with cheers from a gathering crowd.

Over the years, Hyster has introduced new technologies across the range, including the popular, award winning tyre saving axle technology.

The Hyster range is renowned for being highly reliable, tough machines providing low cost ownership for a wide range of industries.

Big changes have been made to the factory which is allowing them to operate more efficiently, allowing high production volumes and focusing on a further 5 areas to improve. Overall, this has allowed the factory to product quality, parts availability and speed up resolution to problems.
